They also make sure that a previously<br>tested analog block still performs as expected after a change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once analog regression tests have been set up, they can also facilitate other tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>they can facilitate the migration to other technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they can be used to validate software.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they can simplify upgrading or changing your Spice simulator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they might help you to optimize design parameters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In general they use Spice simulation on the block to be validated and compare the results of these simulations to a reference. As these tests often need to verify given design specifications, they are mostly implemented in scripts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our customers have successfully integrated our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.analogflavor.com\/en\/bespice\/bespice-wave-parser\/\">Waveform Parser Python module<\/a><\/strong>  into their Python-based test environments.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Python based approach simplifies programming and the usage of scientific computation modules. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also a lot more portable that alternative solutions and can easily be deployed on cloud computing platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our library is also available for C\/C++, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mathworks.com\/\">Matlab<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/octave.org\/\">Octave<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcl.tk\/\">Tcl<\/a>.
