The format is an extension of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.analogflavor.com\/en\/psf-parser\/\"><strong>PSF file format<\/strong><\/a>. It allows higher read\/write speeds. Therefore Spectre generates PSFXL files for transient simulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the data files Spectre writes a &#8220;logFile&#8221; which lists all files containing simulation data. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.analogflavor.com\/en\/2023\/05\/04\/the-psf-and-psfxl-file-structure\/\"><strong>This post<\/strong><\/a> gives more details on the &#8220;logFile&#8221; and the PSF and PSFXL file structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.analogflavor.com\/en\/bespice\/bespice-wave\/\">BeSpice Wave<\/a><\/strong> and the underlying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.analogflavor.com\/en\/bespice\/bespice-wave-parser\/\"><strong>waveform parser<\/strong><\/a> read PSFXL files. The curve data is loaded dynamically when required. It can be parsed while running a simulation.
